After eating a cookie laced with the drug, "Blink", Diana starts to see Josh Sandler, an ex-fiancée who cheated on her before their wedding.

Josh Sandler is a former boyfriend of Diana Skouris. He was a physics graduate assistant when she was a microbiology graduate student. They met in one of her classes, started dating and eventually got engaged. Two weeks before there were to get married, Josh cheated on Diana. She found out 4 days later and broke off the engagement.
When Diana ate a cookie with the drug Blink in it, she had hallucinations of Josh. Marco was bothered by these hallucinations. The hallucination of Josh forced Diana to realize that she and Marco had no future together as a couple. When she ended her relationship with Marco, the hallucinations of Josh ceased.
