Paul Newbold is a "4400" and a member of the Nova Group. Paul has the ability to control his body temperature as well as the body temperature of others. This ability has a wide range of effect as Paul lowered the body temperature of a man, causing him to freeze to death, within his bathroom without being physically present. The effect of this ability appears to be remarkably quick as the man Paul used his ability on was frozen in position showing little signs of distress, suggesting he froze in place within seconds.
